Yes, being salty is a good thing, when we\'re talking about including unrefined, natural salt in the diet!\\xa0All traditional people groups included some salt in the diet. We would do well to do the same. Low salt consumption has been linked to metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, poor digestion, parasites, and even depression. And salt is actually essential for proper brain and body functionality, helping with hormonal function and restorative sleep, for example.
