The Army Wants To Verify To The Stars Academy\'s Fantastic UFO Mystery Material Claims
An official agreement makes it clear the Army wants to explore the possibility that To The Stars Academy may actually have something game-changing.

The U.S. Army confirmed that it had entered into a curious cooperative deal with former Blink 182 frontman Tom DeLonge\'s To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science, more commonly known as TTSA, to investigate certain "novel materials." The War Zone has now obtained a minimally redacted copy of the agreement that clearly says that the Army wants to attempt to verify TTSA\'s claims about reported metamaterials and associated "technology innovations." If they actually check out, the service thinks they could be immensely valuable to the U.S. military as a whole.

TTSA has also claimed to be in possession of a number of mysterious metamaterials, which The War Zone covered in detail in our initial reporting on this CRADA. By basic definition, metamaterials are engineered composites that have electrical properties not present in any naturally occurring form of the material, which results in unique attributes, including certain impacts on the transmission of electromagnetic waves.

SpaceX Wants the U.S. Army To Use Its Starship Rockets

The Starship is SpaceX’s largest and most ambitious project to date. Starship is the combination of the company’s Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy rocket. The spacecraft/rocket combo can lift 110 tons of cargo into low earth orbit. That’s more tonnage than the U.S. Air Force’s C-17 Globemaster III transport. SpaceX believes the rocket, in addition to sending cargo into space, could serve in the “point-to-point” space transport role, transporting people and cargo between any two points on Earth.

The Starlink Internet satellite system is more likely to capture the Army’s attention. Starlink plans to launch 12,000 satellites into low-earth orbit to provide global broadband Internet. That’s an attractive proposition for any organization operating globally, particularly the U.S. Army. A single network providing such communications could be very advantageous.

It could also be a disaster. A constellation 12,000 satellites would also provide 12,000 access points for hackers to breach the network. If a global network—especially one carrying secret U.S. Army data—is hacked it could place the lives of American soldiers in danger.
