The \\u201cminiature UFO\\u201d was discovered in Silpho Moor near Scarborough, North Yorkshire, in 1957.
The metal disc was 16 inches in diameter, weighed 22lbs and was inscribed with hieroglyphics which are similar to the wreckage of the \\u201cspacecraft\\u201d alleged to have crashed in Roswell, New Mexico in June 1947.
Inside the object was a book of 17 thin copper sheets with each sheet covered in more hieroglyphics.
Local caf\\xe9 owner Phillip Longbottom claimed the hieroglyphics translated into a 2000-word message.
The hieroglyphics are claimed to have been sent by an alien called Ullo to warn Earth about the danger posed by its nuclear weapons with the chilling message: \\u201cYou will improve or disappear.\\u201d

RUSSIAN president Vladimir Putin will be the world leader to announce aliens have already made contact with Earth, a UFO expert has claimed
The Paradigm Research Group (PRG) based in the US believes there is a conspiracy theory that there is a massive cover-up of the existence of aliens.
Stephen Bassett, PRG founder, spent a week in Moscow campaigning for Putin to step forward as the so-called \\u201cdisclosure president\\u201d.
He does not believe Donald Trump will release what the US allegedly knows about aliens.
Mr Bassett \\u2013 the only registered lobbyist in the US campaigning to expose the alien\\u201dcover-up\\u201d \\u2013 has called on Putin to take steps in lifting the \\u201ctruth embargo\\u201d.
In the TV chat, Mr Bassett said: "If I had two minutes with Putin, my only question would be why do you not tell people about the ET presence.
"I believe Vladimir Putin is well aware of the ET presence.
