Muscle confusion doesn't mean change your workouts

There are three main reasons why people will change up their program: 1) they have plateaued, 2) they aren't seeing results fast enough, or 3) they have no idea how to program (4th reason would be simply to change up the fun). In these situations, we want to change up our program because we are just impatient with the process, and believe me, I use to change up my programs a lot too.

In reality, you do not have to change up your workouts, simply change how you perform the workouts, higher your intensity, and find new ways to attack that muscle, for example: drop sets, giant sets, burn outs, progressive overload, ect. You don't need to change your workouts all the time because the body needs time to adapt and how else will you gage your progress if you're always changing it.

Key Takeaways:

  • The main reason why people change up their programs that never work
  • The reason why you should not change your program
  • What programming is and why you must be patient with the process
