How genetics will effect your weight loss and physique

It's easy to play the blame game when things aren't going our way. For example, It's easy to say "well I will never start to eat healthy, because every time I try too, my family orders pizza for dinner", or "I'm never going to build muscle, my metabolism is to fast. All I do is eat and poop and never gain weight." When it comes down to how we are create, and I mean we as in us as individual human beings, we were given a certain foundation of things that makes us who we are (aka genetics).

Genetics are not the reason why your metabolism is "slow" or "fast". Your genetics are not the reason why you're the slowest on your team or heaviest in your class. Genetics are not the reason why you're steadily gaining 10lbs every year so by the time 10 years has passed by, which happens very fast, and now you've put on 100lbs. Genetics are what you are, not who you can be. You're in control of the outcomes of your progress. Genetics plays a role in your structure, your muscle origin and insertion, your base metabolic rate, and how fast or slow you will get your results.
