Conventional wisdom teaches us to accept our fate when it comes to hair loss. \\u201cRuns in the family,\\u201d we\\u2019re often told\\u2014and sometimes it does (but that\\u2019s usually not the full story). \\u201cIt\\u2019s just\\xa0part of getting older,\\u201d people say, too\\u2014and there we again find only partial truth at best.
