4 ways to approach your big goals

Whether you are starting a workout routine or are building connection with your son you can use these 4 questions to help you start taking action toward your big vision.

1. What does it look like this week?
is it one class that you have to take ?
does it look like you writing down your one thought about your son and seeing how it makes you feel?
pick one thing you can do this week to move towards your goal.

2. What are they thinking?  - the person who is already doing what it is that you want to be doing?
What are their thoughts, about workouts?
What are their thoughts about their son?
Because the thoughts are what makes the difference between going to the gym and eating a cookie.
A thought is what will determine whether you criticize your son or listen with curiosity.

So look around you and study other peoples thoughts about their sons and borrow them if they are producing the results you want.

3. What's the smallest version of my goal that i can commit to right now?
a workout once a week?
write down your thought and find a feeling it produces.
Get to know your thoughts about your son.
Make a goal to listen to your son and also watch your mind think thoughts about him and study them.

4. and lastly "do a pilot" meaning try this new plan out and decide that you will re evaluate in a few weeks.  Knowing that this is just a trial will free you up to take action and fail, after all it's just a trial run.
