(#17) Let's Talk About The 2020 Election Results + What To Eat To Lose or Gain Weight

In Today's episode, we'll be discussing what to eat, but first I wanted to share my thoughts about the 2020 Election results. All aspects of life, especially this Election, can impact our state of well being which is why I wanted to talk about it. How we do one thing is how we do everything and I've learned through my years of training that fitness is a metaphor for life, our fitness levels are oftentimes a reflection of what we feel is possible for ourselves. 

Once you realize and truly believe that anything is possible your fitness journey becomes a lot more fun! And once you understand how the body uses food eating makes a lot more sense! Eating is something we have to do every day so we might as well get good at it! Protein, Fat, and Carbs are the three main building blocks of nutrition,  knowing when to eat and how much to eat is essential for seeing the changes you want to see in your body and performance levels. 

There are a lot of fad diet trends that tell you what to do but not why to do it, which is what gets people stuck in the yo-yo diet cycle. Understanding your nutrition is what gives you the power to build and maintain the body of your dreams.
