How to reconnect with your true Self

“Well-intentioned parents who try to make us the way society would accept are really teaching us to go outside of ourselves for our sense of approval in a sense that “if someone else approves of me then I can approve of myself” which is totally backwards from how we are meant to be. As a human being each of us is born with self worth. I want people to understand they come into the world as worthy and sovereign beings standing on their own inner land.”

The words of Rue Hass, one of the 29 EFT founding Masters, Intuitive Mentor, and Spiritual Life Path Coach.

She continues: “Life can be a deep, rich, beautiful tapestry of experience if you’re willing to approach it in that way and deepen into it rather than focus on what’s wrong.”

In this conversation we explore the highly sensitive person (Rue believes that many people labeled as “socially anxious” have a deeply spiritual quality that she calls “sensitive intelligence”) and speak about how to reframe the way we see ourselves so that we can reconnect with our true Self.

QUOTE: Anytime something is a “should” for you it’s something to pay close attention to because “shoulds” usually come from what we expect what other people expect of us and it takes us away from ourselves.
