Marie McGinn is Professor Emerita in Philosophy at the University of York, and part-time Professor of Philosophy at the University of East Anglia. Her main areas of research include the philosophy of Wittgenstein, epistemology and the philosophy of mind. She is the 104th President of the Aristotelian Society for the 2011/12 academic year. This podcast is an audio recording of Professor McGinn's inaugural address titled, "Non-Inferential Knowledge."
