Trauma can come in many forms--oftentimes we think that something horrific has to happen for it to be categorized as trauma or to feel validated in suffering from PTSD as a result. While more extreme situations and events can certainly cause trauma, there are a wide variety of other factors involved that can cause trauma in the body, mind, and spirit.
