Today, I have a conversation with Jillian Amadi Roberts, who is an Antiracist, Afrodiasporic educator. She teaches elementary school students In New York and also gives lectures on dismantling Anti-Blackness. We talk about Antiracism and connecting it to dance, Black and Asian Solidarity, Model Minority Myth, and her approach to teaching. 

For each episode this season, I want to raise awareness + donate to activism organizations that contribute to a cause that these speakers are passionate about. This portion is dedicated to the Abolitionist Teaching Network, whose mission is to develop and support those in the strugglefor educational freedom utilizing the intellectual work and direct action of Abolitionists in many forms.
