Sorah Yang is an Choreographer, Creative Director, Teacher, and Entrepreneur who was born and raised in the Bay Area, and received her Bachelors in Business Administration from USC. Her dance career has included: creating and directing Vessel Dance Company, traveling to 27 countries worldwide and over 30 colleges around the US to teach and perform, providing choreography and movement coaching for kpop artists, and giving a TEDx Talk where she discussed her nonlinear path from college to a career in the arts. Through sharing her work online, she has amassed a digital presence which has led to creative partnerships with brands like Adobe and Hyundai.

Sorah operates her own clothing brand for dancers (ShopSorah), and most recently worked as the Associate Choreographer for the Broadway-bound Britney Spears Musical.

In 2020, she developed a self-curated online course called "The Artful Balance of Business and Dance," providing in-depth mentorship, creative development, and career guidance for students around the world. Aside from professional work, over the past year alone she has raised over $17,000 to support nonprofit orgs that provide resources to women of color and other marginalized communities.
