Progress Vs. Perfection

b"Today I talk about some new fun tools such as the Digital Measuring Tape and the Mio Alpha (a strapless heartrate monitor that states a 99% accuarcy - for $199). I recently purchased a heart rate monitor from Wahoo Fitness that works with my iPhone. As we always say you can't manage what you don't track. The nice thing about a tape measure is you may find that when the scale doesn't move, your tape measure may. The last three weeks I've had some very inconsistent days. This is partly due to having to drive three hours a day. This meant I had to get up early and stay up late to get caught up. While I was able to maintain my weight the first week, after two weeks of this I became exhausted and my choices began to suffer. So I had lost some weight, but then I started to gain it back. So I move forward, and then take a step back. In the long run, I am still make progress. This is something to celebrate. However we often get frustrated because we are not perfect. Perfection is not realistic. It would be awesome, but we need to realize that if we hold us to a perfect standard we will always be disappointed.
Should You Ever Call a Woman Fat?
I talk about this article that says there are times when its OK to call a woman fat. The author mentions that in this case because the person calling her fat was her mother it was OK. What do you think?

Do you think you could handle your Mom calling you fat?"
