In this week's episode, I am honoured to welcome back Dr. Natashia Robbins. Natashia is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Coach. She obtained her Master’s and Ph.D. from Purdue University and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Natashia's research and clinical experience over 16 years has centred around Attachment and Nervous System Regulation.

In recent years, her focus has broadened to include Somatic Attachment Therapy and Internal Family Systems frameworks. She is also a trained yoga instructor and breathwork facilitator. Natashia owns a private practice where she provides therapy and coaching services for clients in-office and virtually online.

In this episode, Natashia and I discuss attachment styles. We discuss the attachment styles most people are familiar with and explore the research that led to secure and insecure attachment development. Natashia and I also talk about how people can build secure attachments in their lives, and we share our own experiences of how we have been able to do that.
