On tonight\'s show,\\xa0Doctor Fitness and the Fat Guy get the skinny\\nabout how a dancer from Madison Wisconsin transforms himself into one of the hottest dancers/choreographers in the world. Jamie King, the creator of the "Rock Your Body with Jamie King" dvd and book shares his story of growing up in Wisconsin, struggling as a background dancer, meeting his mentor Prince then being plucked out of the American Music Awards by Madonna. Today Jamie is on top of the world with his sponsorship by Nike, his work with greats like Shakira, Madonna, and just about everyone else as well as his brand new exercise dvd Rock Your World and the book that tells his story. He has got a great story and his dvd will get you moving that is for sure. Check out Jamie\'s website www.jamiekingofficial.com or Nike\'s dance fitness site www.nikewomen.com or www.rockyourbodyprogram.com

\\n\\n\\nWe also got to spend time with Jim Karas, the author of "The Cardio Free Diet" His book shows you dispels the myth that more time running on the treadmill is the key to losing weight. He believes that if you want to lose weight you must be strength training and eating right. Cardio does not really help you lose weight in fact he believes that it could hinder your weight loss. A man after the Fat Guy\'s heart. I don\'t know if Dr Fitness totally bought in to his theory but the Fat Guy is with Jim 100%. Jim is the Fitness contributor for Good Morning America and has worked with clients such as: Hugh Jackman, Diane Sawyer, Emma Thompson, Candace Bergen and more in his studios in New York and Chicago. To learn more about Jim and his new Book as well as his old books check out his website www.jimkaras.com

Next up we had the editor of Fit Sugar Sweet Susi May. Susi is the fitness editor behind one of the Fat Guy wife\'s favorite blogs Fit Sugar. In fact if you are a woman and have not been checking out the whole family of Sugar Publishing sites you are truly missing out. First go to www.FitSugar.com and you\'ll see why this blog is so cool. They review healthy snacks, exercise videos, they have calorie breakdowns of the foods you actually eat an a whole bunch more. That is why they are our the Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy Blog of the Week. And once you get to www.fitsugar.com scroll down to the bottom of the page and check out the other sugar sites like: popsugar, buzzsugar, geeksugar, dearsugar and more. They are all awesome!

And\\nlast but not least we had on Lisa Newton, the brains behind Weight1Minute. Weight1Minute is a new subscription service for implementing your personally customized weight loss, exercise and nutrition goals. Go the her website www.weight1minute.com and try them for free for one month.

The Doctor had some his latest installment of\\n...Dr Fitness\' "Things You Can Do Today" To Lose Weight Tomorrow.\\xa0Here are\\na\\xa0few of Dr. Fitness\' secrets about how to watch out for seemingly healthy choices that pack a lot of calories at some of your favorite restaurants. Number\\n1, Ruby Tuesday\'s Veggie Burger has over 900 calories, bet you didn\'t know that. Number\\n2, Chili\'s grilled salmon meal gives you 8 oz of salmon some rice and veggies for about 700 calories - probably more than you thought but it sounds good to the Fat Guy. And\\nNumber\\n3, beware the Macha Green Tea Blast at Jamba Juice...that 32 ounce smoothie will cost you well over 600 calories. For that amount of calories I\'d much rather have the salmon from Chili\'s. He had a few\\nmore tips\\nbut you\'ll have to listen to get them.

Kathie\\nfinally came back to the studio and she promised that she would be around more often. She was in Cancun and New York filming the Real Savvy Moms TV show.\\xa0 Real Savvy Moms is a great show for moms that is available on most Public Broadcasting Stations around the US and online. Remember Kathie is\\none of the\\ntop\\xa0feet and legs model\'s out\\nthere... she is so hot she got to be a body double for Alyssa Milano a\\nfew weeks ago.\\xa0Be sure\\nto check out Kathie\'s website www.getkathie.com. Also check out her hosting skills on www.RealSavvyMoms.com.

Remember\\nwe are now on Michigan radio station WKNW this day. They asked us to\\ncreate a Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy "Wellness Minute." So now a new\\nWellness Minute runs on that station each day. Each Wellness Minute\\nfeatures the doctor and I going over 5 of his best tips on a given\\nwellness subject like: losing weight, getting in shape, living a\\nhealthy lifestyle, etc. We\'re working on ways to make those tips\\navailable to all our listeners. If you have a favorite radio station\\nthat you think would benefit from our Wellness Minutes send them an\\nemail telling them about it and who knows maybe you can hear us\\neveryday too.
\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n
Also once again, I need you to please do me a favor. My nine year\\nkid Max made\\nhis radio debut in his new show "Kid Power Radio." This is a great show\\nfor your kids. It is kind of like a kids version of David Spade\'s\\n"Showbiz Show" on Comedy Central or Entertainment Tonight. Max recaps the week in entertainment\\nand gives his take and\\nreview of what he liked and didn\'t like on TV, at the movies, video games, in books\\nand in\\nmusic and even restaurant reviews. Please go to his site and download the show for your kid. And if\\nyour kid sends Max an email he\'ll read it on the air next week. The show can be found at www.kidpowerradio.com and you can email Max at RadioStarMax at Yahoo.com. Your encouragement is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
