\\n\\nWe opened the show with Pilates Expert Brooke Siler. She is the author of some of the most influential pilates books out there. She wrote The Pilates Body and Your Ultimate Pilates Body Challenge.\\xa0 She is a veteran in the\\xa0 world of pilates and she has been personally trained by one of Joseph Pilates proteges. She explained to us the difference between yoga and pilates. She also gave us some insight into how pilates gives you a great cardio workout while strengthening your entire body. Her Re:AB pilates studio in New York City has been around for over a decade reshaping the bodies of actresses, athletes and regular moms and dads. Next up we had on Director Linda Burns and Andrew "Drew" Johnston, star of the new\\ndocumentary chronicling Drew\\u2019s rise from a cancer diagnosis to him competing in\\nan Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii called Living is Winning.\\n\\n\\n\\n

This is a great story - Drew is an elite athlete. He stared out as\\na competitive pro cyclist, but after a series of accidents and concussions, he was forced to put down his bike.

\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n

Drew quickly changed gears and found success\\nand a new career as a triathlete. But 2004 brought devastating news for his\\nfamily, his friends and his future. Drew was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous\\nLeukemia (CML) and his body literally broke down.

\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n

But two years later, after taking an oral chemo called\\nGleevac, and continuing his commitment to a healthy organic lifestyle, rigorous\\ntargeted exercise and an extremely positive mental attitude, Drew is in molecular\\nremission.

\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n

Today, Drew competes at triathlons and Ironman events\\nthroughout the country with remarkable results.\\xa0 Drew\'s life story serves as an inspiration to others, to\\nstrive to be your best in every aspect of life and to never give up your\\ndreams, no matter how distant they may seem.

\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n

\\xa0Their goal with the Living is Winning movie is to reach audiences all over the world, engaging\\nthem with the passion that exists in the sport of triathlons to encourage the\\npassion that is necessary to continue the search for a cure for cancer. Living\\nis Winning will entertain everyone from triathletes to couch potatoes with\\naction packed race footage, moving interviews, lots of humor and a great\\noriginal score. They hope to inspire every generation to eat healthy, exercise\\nand become socially responsible through organizations like Team in Training and\\nthe Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Amazingly the Fat Guy is being followed by over 3 dozen\\npeople who are interested in what he eats each day. Who would have\\nthought?\\xa0 Anyone can follow the Fat Guy\'s eating exploits on\\nTwitter.\\xa0 Food journals are great ways to lose weight and the Fat Guy is\\nalways trying anything in order to lose those last 20 pounds. So take a peek\\ninto his food diary. You never know what he\'ll write. Somehow he can stay\\ncompliant to writing on Twitter but he can\'t fit in exercise each day. That\'s\\nright, moments after he eats something the Fat Guy Twitters about it and you\\ncan follow him so that one day if you try real hard you too can look like the\\nFat Guy. \\nAlso once again, I need you to please do me a favor. My kid Max has been doing\\na radio show called "Kid Power Radio" for awhile now and you should\\ncheck it out. Tiffany from The Daily Candy called his family friendly radio\\nshow "Hilarious!" This is a great show for your kids. It is kind of\\nlike a kids version of David Spade\'s "Showbiz Show" on Comedy Central\\nor Entertainment Tonight mixed in with a little Wayne\'s World. Max recaps the week in entertainment\\nand gives his take and review of what he liked and didn\'t like on TV, at the\\nmovies, video games, in books and in music and even restaurant reviews. Please\\ngo to his site and download the show for your kid. He had a big show recently\\nhe interviewed Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force on Cartoon Network\'s Adult\\nSwim. And if your kid sends Max an email he\'ll read it on the air next week.\\nThe show can be found at www.kidpowerradio.com\\nand you can email Max at RadioStarMax at Yahoo.com.
