Dr. Julie Slowiak joins us today to discuss behavioral analysis and the hows and whys to it within your team/organization. Julie is an associate professor of psychology at UMD. Her research and work revolves around applying psychological principles to organizations including teams and companies. Dr. Slowiak starts out by sharing with us what behavioral analysis is and why it’s important to athletes and teams including the importance of the coach in molding these behaviors. Julie shares with us multiple examples of how coaches can better gather information from athletes and how to “interpret” that information to do better by their athletes.
