After a brief intro bringing us how he got into Cricket he gives us a break down of the sport, the demands of competition, and some of the challenges he faces with training these athletes. This includes how he evaluates the athletes, and what he sees in his needs analysis of these athletes. He then shares with us how his programming changes as these players age, what he’s looking for specifically to make sure they’re healthy first, and how the match schedule at times limits how he works with his guys, along with some common injuries he see’s within the sport and how they handle them. We finish off discussing the role of mental and psychological fatigue on cricket players and how he evaluates that with his team.
