As a mother you carry around a bundle of expectations in a \'normal\' life.  Today I revisited my resource on taking the first step from overwhelm to calm to assess it\'s value for right now.  I found that it basically all still applies.  There are a few more expectations added on, and some losses to examine.  I have therefore added a new journal prompt to look at the losses.

When  you take the time to examine the usefulness of the expectations you carry, you are looking after your cognitive self-care.  Cognitive self-care is one of the give areas of self-care addressed in Your Roadmap to Personal Wellbeing Program for no BS* Mums.  The other four being Physical Self-Care, Emotional Wellbeing, Connection and Meaning.
