In this episode, I had the pleasure of chatting with MaryEllen Reider about the pelvic floor and the many benefits we can achieve by properly engaging the muscles associated with our pelvic floor. I personally did not become familiar with the pelvic floor until pregnancy, however taking the time to learn how to train this group of muscles can be beneficial for a number of reasons! We discuss everything from how the pelvic floor can aid us in our workouts as well as in our intimate life. This is a conversation that often is a bit taboo but we break down some walls and create a discussion around it.

MaryEllen also takes the time to inform us of a medical device called "Yarlap" to help assist us in our pelvic floor work. She emphasizes the importance of speaking with our doctors if we think there is an issue but also discusses ways we can be improving our pelvic floor from home! MaryEllen is happy to answer any questions and can be reached at info@yarlap.com or you can send a DM to their instagram at @yarlap_otc. If you are interested in looking up this medical device, you can find it at yarlap.com. This is by no means sponsored but I am very fascinated to learn more about it!\\xa0
