102: STRUGGLING to Get to FOOD FREEDOM? Try out these 3 Things to Break Free From Food Idolatry & Food Struggles!

Published: Aug. 23, 2021, 12:18 p.m.

For many years, food was my master and I didn't know how to break free from the problems that it was creating. My physical health was compromised and my identity was placed in my body image rather than in Christ alone. If this story sounds familiar in your own life I share three things for you to try so you, too, can be liberated from food being your master and finally enter into food freedom!

Stay Courageous & Fit for His Kingdom,

Jaclyn

*************

Who are we kidding? As followers of Jesus, it’s easy to get comfortable and do what everyone else is doing! Even though we know that this world is not our home it’s easy to conform to its customs and patterns. And unless we spend time in the quiet with the Lord and examine our true reasons for getting healthy and fit, we will keep pursuing worldly motivations and expectations of the culture and not realize that it was sucking our spiritual health dry like bones in a desert.

That’s why I created faith-filled, one-on-one coaching. For those of you who are believing the lie that you have to do this alone. If you feel ashamed, unworthy, and insecure about starting or you don’t know how to begin your health journey as a Christian, this is for you. Trust me I know that it’s never easy to expose weak points and strongholds. But I remember what our guide book for life says in James 5:16, Proverbs 28:13, Acts 3:19, Psalm 32:3. (Really. Stop. I encourage you to open up the scriptures and read what God says in His word in those verses.)

A perfect example of not being open and honest to expose our weak points is being in bondage to food, coffee, or sweets or even secretly wanting a “better-looking” body. Yes, I went there! Does any of this sound familiar? I am all too familiar with these struggles as a Christian female because I’ve been through it all.

If you are ready to admit that you need personal direction and guidance on what steps to take next when it comes to your health and fitness then let’s do your next chapter together!

Pssst… don’t worry. I won’t be telling you to count macros or yell in your face to accept that donuts are evil. (They’re not.)

I WILL be walking alongside you and show you how to keep your heart, soul, mind, and body healthy while encouraging you to keep facing in the direction where Jesus is calling you to be.
