Abdur Rahman ibn Auwf (ra) session 6. The young 30 year old Abdur Rahman ibn Auwf (ra) embraces Islam at the hands of Abu Bakr (ra) on the 2nd day of proclamation. Abdur Rahman ibn Auwf (ra) makes migration under the command of Rasulullah ﷺ on the 5th year to the blessed land of Abyssinia. Rasulullah's endearment for Abyssinia and great honour for it's people. "And nearest amongst them in love to the believers will you find those who say 'We are Christians' (referring to Abyssinians)." Surah Al Ma'idah verse 82
