Jibreel (as) presents the deeds and rewards which are sent to the deceased. The deceased are drowning and value the sent deeds as being greater than the world. Only the sincere friend will supplicate for the deceased. 'The unfamiliar severe rebukers.' The deceased says to the deeds, I considered you the least important of my 3 friends (wealth,  family and deeds). Allah سبحانه وتعالىٰ promises all sustenance, but we behave and work otherwise. There is no promise for forgivness yet we behave in a manner thinking we are guaranteed forgiveness.
