Trying to be friends with my ex-girlfriend

b'This week's Youth Questions video is different than what we usually do. While most of our videos provide answers, advice, and input from youth workers, parents, adults, and teenagers, this week I don't have time to pull off a normal video. I'm just way too swamped with trying to get my second book completed and sent off to the publisher and other work. So, instead, I'll share with you all one of the questions that was submitted and ask you guys to answer it instead! Give your best advice, help, and input for this teenager who broke up with his girlfriend but still wants to remain friends with her. How does he do it, even after she calls him names? Is it even possible in the first place? Share your stories with us as a comment or, better yet, as a video response! I felt like she was just dating me to be able to say she had a boyfriend. So i broke up with her. We were friends, but later she sent me a text message that was meant for someone else. She called me a nub. I want to be friends what do I do?
