Each year at my birthday, it is my personal ‘New Year’, a time of reflection, thanksgiving, adoration, and seeking GOD’s revelation for my personal ministry assignment. This past Saturday on June 10th, we celebrated a milestone birthday for my husband with our family and loved ones and on Sunday June 11th, we celebrated my birthday. With the time spent with our children, and grandchildren as well as the well-wishes from close friends and associates it was a day filled with absolute joy and contentment. Birthday time is also my time to let go of things that are unproductive or that produce heaviness and undue stress. The particular goals that I want to achieve during the next few months are re-assessed, and if adjustments are needed, this is the time to make them.
