Contentment Prayer

As Prayer Champions, we can choose to be full of Joy or joyful each day. Contentment flows from the joy decision. Philippians 4:11-13, NASB,  Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.  I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.  I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. In order to make this statement, we may have to go to GOD in prayer for help. Sometimes when we are faced with challenges or what can be frightening news our decision to be joyful or our state of contentment may wane. We may be given in to the old habits of fear, anxiety, worry, frustration, or weariness from dealing with certain problems.It then becomes important for us to pray the scriptures:
