Episode 211: King James Was a Homo

Published: March 28, 2021, 7 a.m.

We’ve spent previous episodes talking about the importance of translations in the Bible, and today we look at how translations play a role in the story of King James, who we think was pretty queer, who kept his own lovers, but also prosecuted LGBTQ+ people and sponsored a version of the bible that has been used against the LGBTQ+ community for a long, long time. What a wild guy!
