Barry McGaw, Chair of the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority, discusses the driving forces behind Australia’s adoption of a national curriculum and how it benefits students across the country. McGaw was at Yale in March 2015 when he delivered a lecture for “Leading Educational Reforms: Opportunities and Challenges Ahead,” the second leadership program for Brazilian leaders hosted by Yale and organized in conjunction with the Lemann Foundation.
