Today on Wussy Movie Club, theatre director Charles Quittner is here to argue the Queer merits of the 1975 British rock opera ‘Tommy’!

Starring Roger Daltrey, Tina Turner, and Elton John, the film is based on The Who's 1969 operatic fantasy ‘Tommy’. Pete Townsend was nominated for an Oscar for adapting the music for the  film and Ann-Margret was nominated for Best Actress.

Will the film be officially recognized as Queer cannon? Your hosts Daniel Shaw and Johne Kilberg are here to break down the fashion, the herstory, and the queerness of “Tommy”!
