The Movie Club is super stoked to review the 1978 musical film adaptation of “The Wiz” starring Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Mabel King, and Richard Pryor. Heralded by TIME Magazine as “the most expensive musical ever”, The Wiz featured an all-black cast and was directed by Sidney Lumet. We are joined by film reviewer Shay Filmore to review this underappreciated classic!
