In this first Craft of Writing episode for 2021 Pam settles in on The Convo Couch to discuss the revision process with fellow author Joanna Nell. Joanna is a Sydney-based writer, GP and advocate for positive ageing. Her bestselling debut novel The Single Ladies of Jacaranda Retirement Village was published in 2018 with rights sold internationally. Her second novel The Last Voyage of Mrs Henry Parker was published in 2019 and her latest release The Great Escape from Woodlands Nursing Home is currently flying off the shelves. Jo and Pam are members of the same writing group, The Inkwell, and have both recently finished revisions on novels. In this indepth chart on the topic they share tips on their writing processes, revision in particular, and use examples from their books to illustrate their techniques. The episode is also out on youtube if you'd prefer to watch, and you can find screenshots of the examples Jo and Pam give in the accompanying blog post with before and after examples from their recent books, on the Writes4Women website here.   SHOWNOTES: Writes4Women www.writes4women.com Facebook @writes4women Twitter / Instagram @w4wpodcast   W4W Patreon https://www.writes4women.com/support-us-on-patreon   Joanna Nell Website: https://www.joannanell.com/ Facebook: click here  Instagram: click here Twitter: click here   Pamela Cook www.pamelacook.com.au Facebook @pamelacookauthor Twitter @PamelaCookAU   This episode produced by Pamela Cook for Writes4Women     Support the show: https://www.patreon.com/writes4women?fan_landing=true See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
