Published: March 10, 2018, 9:06 a.m.

Kel has a very personal chat with award winning children's book author, Aleesah Darlison. In the last 8 years since publishing her first book "Puggle's Problem", Aleesah has written over 40, ranging from picture books all the way through to YA. She lives in lush Queensland surrounds with her family and draws on her love of Australia's native plants an animals as inspiration for her stories. In this conversation Aleesah talks about discovering her inner writer, never giving up and mining her deepest memories to create beautiful stories for children of all ages. You may need to grab some tissues with your cuppa for this one... (we apologise for the low levels in the first half of this interview. There were some technical issues with Skype during the record which we have tried to fix - please bare with because what Aleesah has to say in the 2nd half of this interview is worth it)  SHOW NOTES / LINKS: Writes4Women website - www.writes4women.com Writes4Women Facebook @writes4women Twitter / Instagram @w4wpodcast Aleesah Darlison Wesbsite - www.aleesahdarlison.com Greenleaf Press Website - www.greenleafpress.net Aleesah Darlison Facebook @aleesahdarlison
