Inga Simpson "Writing from a Space of Place"

Published: April 4, 2019, 8:20 p.m.

Inga Simpson is an impressive Australian fiction and nature writer. She is the author of 4 incredible but very different books "Mr Wigg", "Nest", "Where the Trees Were" and her autobiographical, first foray into nature writing "Understory". All of Inga's books are inspired by and celebrate the natural environments in which she has spent most of her life including regional NSW and the stunning QLD Hinterland. Inga is also part of the first ever Storyfest being held in Milton in June. In this episode Inga chats with Kel about writing from a space of place, the themes that dominate her novels and what writing festivals have meant for her. Followed by a chat between Pam and Kel exploring it all a little further.
