What would you do if people came to see you and their visit ran into the lunch hour? If you had enough food, you might offer them something to eat. If not, you might suggest going to a restaurant to continue the visit or end the visit so that everyone could find something to satisfy their hunger. In this passage we see what Jesus did in such a situation. Christ miraculously fed thousands of people. He satisfied their hunger. As we look at this miracle, we will consider the importance of believing that it was true, that it really happened. We will learn something important about following Christ, and we will savor a glorious truth about our Savior - Christ is the one who satisfies our soul.
