Flattery will get us nowhere with Christ nor with others. We are His and He is ours!

In this passage we continue to see the wicked Jewish religious leaders getting nowhere with their methods of flattery with Jesus, and the crowds continue to gather around Him. Instead of stepping into their trap when considering paying taxes, we see Jesus setting the records straight about who those that place their trust in Him belong to. This week's sermon will challenge us on how we speak to one another, how we look to the heart of man to truly address our behaviors, and also how our citizenship in this world belongs to God and God alone.
