Magen was born in Norfolk, Virginia to a Southern Baptist family. Throughout her formative years,\\xa0 she moved up and down the east coast due to her father\\u2019s job in the Navy.\\xa0

While a senior year of high school, Magen committed to Jerry Fallwell's Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. While at Liberty, Magen was exposed to persons from contrasting christian denominations. This greatly disturbed her confidence in christianity's assurance that it owned the market on truth.\\xa0

Magen's time at Liberty was short lived.\\xa0 She dropped out after her freshman year and settled down with a boyfriend in Cincinnati, Ohio. \\xa0

Today Magen is a stay-at-home mom to 4-year-old daughter, Aribelle. When not actively \\u2018momming\\u2019 you may find her reading daemon romance novels or Hector Garcia's Alpha God.\\xa0 She also enjoys the God Awful Movie Podcast and trekking off to the Philippines every now again. \\xa0
