b'Savitribai Phule (1831-1897) was a prominent Indian social reformer, educationist, and poet who played an instrumental role in women\\u2019s education and empowerment during the nineteenth century. She is regarded as the mother of Indian feminism and she is credited with founding the first girl\\u2019s school in Pune in Bhide Wada with her husband.\\n\\nFor those of you tuning in for the first time, welcome!
