After earning degrees at the University of Toronto and the London School of Economics, Anna Starasts worked as a marketing manager in an early-stage cleantech startup. She spent the next five years at a leading boutique recruiting agency for tech startups, scale-ups and corporate innovation labs. Anna now works at Ryerson University in Advancement, where she works on philanthropic initiatives at the intersection of innovation and inclusion. In her spare time, she leads one of the longest-running women in tech communities in Toronto, Girl Geeks Toronto. 

Anna talks about everything from building an inclusive innovation sector, and unpacking the ethical grey zones of new technologies, and developing smarter cities.
