Broken Bones – Humor Unplugged

Thank you for joining us for our five days per week wisdom and legacy building podcast. This is Day 982 of our trek, and it is time for a 3-minute mini-trek called Humor Unplugged. Our Thursday podcast will provide a short and clean funny story to help you lighten up and live a rich and satisfying life - something to cheer you and provide a bit a levity in your life.

We are told in  Proverbs 15:30, "A cheerful look brings joy to the heart; good news makes for good health."We are also encouraged in Proverbs 17:22, "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength."Consider this your vitamin supplement of cheer for today. So let’s jump right in with today’s funny, which is titled...
Broken Bones
One of the local schools took their kindergarten students on a special tour through our hospital so they would be familiar with the fine medical services that are available.  They went through the various areas, and all the kids seemed mesmerized by the doctors, nurses, and various pieces of equipment.

When they came to the x-ray department. Little Suzy seemed extra interested in the x-ray machine. She was asking many questions and then Karen, one of the x-ray technicians, asked her, “Suzy have you ever broken a bone?”

“Why yes I have,” said little Suzy.

“Did it hurt?” asked Karen.

“Well, no, not really,” was Suzy’s reply.

Karen, surprised by her answer asked, "Really? Which bone did you break?"

Looking down a bit, Suzy said quietly, "My sister Mary’s arm."That’s a wrap for today’s Humor Unplugged. If you enjoy these short stories, let me know, and I will continue to bring a bit of cheer to your week.

For our Thursday thought, remember we have a great God who heals us as we read in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds."

As you enjoy these nuggets of humor, please encourage your friends and family to join us and then come along tomorrow for another day of our Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy. If you would like to listen to any of our past 981 treks or read the Wisdom Journal, they are available at Wisdom-Trek.com.  I encourage you to subscribe to Wisdom-Trek on Apple Podcast or Google Play so each day will be downloaded to you automatically.
