Wisdom-Trek / Creating a Legacy
Welcome to Day 345 of our Wisdom-Trek, and thank you for joining me.
This is Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to Wisdom
Your Life Plan Blueprint - The Purpose of Goals (2)
Thank you for joining us for our 7 days a week, 7 minutes of wisdom podcast. This is Day 345 of our trek, and last week we began a detailed series, which we originally introduced in January, called Your Life Plan Blueprint. We have synthesized the information into a 100 page PDF manual/workbook which contains all forms needed to create and maintain your personal life plan.

This is our initial release of the manual/workbook, and it is available for download at Wisdom-Trek.com on the left-hand sidebar of any page. Or, if you are listening on your smartphone, you can text the word LifePlan (with no spaces) to 44222 and Your Life Plan Blueprint will be delivered to you in an email.  The manual/workbook is free during the month of May, so I would encourage you to become one of our early adopters so that all updates will be available to you for free also. By the end of 2016, we will have a complete web/mobile version available of Your Life Plan Blueprint.

Thank you so much for coming along with me as we trek through each page of Your Life Plan Blueprint. If you would like to listen to any of the past episodes, please go to Wisdom-Trek.com to listen to them and read the daily journal. You can also subscribe to Wisdom-Trek on iTunes, Spreaker, Stitcher, Soundcloud, iHeart Radio, and Google Play, so each day’s trek will be downloaded to you automatically.

We are broadcasting from our studio at Home2 in Charlotte, North Carolina. This past weekend was filled with fun family activities that were such a blessing. Friday evening we picked up 5 rose plants, and I got them planted on Saturday morning. We also had a late lunch and a great visit with Janet and Rowan at their home and were able to get some car repairs completed on Paula’s mom’s car. Sunday after a blessed time of worship at our local church, we had Buddy, Chelimo, Kip, Janet, Rowan, Fred, and Doug over for a Mother’s Day cookout. We also celebrated Buddy finishing his Masters of Arts degree in International Affairs. We are proud of his accomplishment.

As we will be completing a full year of daily treks at the end of May, we are brought to a reflection point on what direction to take Wisdom-Trek starting on June 1st. We have a lot of projects in the planning stage, all of which take time. We want to make sure that our impact is effective as possible, so we need your assistance on how best to serve you. Please email me at guthrie@venturecg.com, or leave a comment at the bottom of today’s journal to let me know if you would like me to continue Wisdom-Trek on a 7 day, 5 day, or 3 day per week schedule. Also, let me know if you would like any changes to the format of the daily trek. Thank you in advance for your feedback!

It is now time to get started on the seventh day of Your Life Plan Blueprint workbook.. Today we are continuing our in-depth analysis of the purpose of goals within Your Life Plan Blueprint.
The Purpose of Goals (2)
If you are following along in the manual/workbook, we will first cover page 13 the second purpose of goals, which is to drive you forward even when you face obstacles. So, let’s get started on our trek for today.

Now let’s move onto the third purpose of goals, which is to give you laser focus located on page 14 of Your Life Plan Blueprint manual/workbook.

As you move forward through the obstacles that you face and gain laser focus in pursuit of your goals, you are gaining the solid footing needed on your trails of life so that you can properly create your life plan. Tomorrow we will cover two more purposes of goals located on pages 15 and 16 of Your Life Plan Blueprint manual/workbook. So, encourage your friends and family to join us, and then come along tomorrow for another day of our Wisdom-Trek,
