Principles of Spiritual Growth – Rest

Through discipleship, which we explored during the past two days, in order to become more and more like the Master, that is Christ, it does require a significant amount of focus on our part. Remember, first we must die to self, then be diligent in our growth, so that we can produce an abundant harvest, which will allow us to use that harvest to feed others that hunger and thirst for God’s justice. This process may appear to be exhausting. What this scenario of discipleship does not take into account is that God has already provided us with rest through this process.
