The Process of Discipleship
One of the best analogy of the process of discipleship is found in the Parable of the Sower in Luke 8:15 where it says: And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God’s word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest. It shows a distinct process of growth through patience. A parallel passage to this which gives us an analogy of return is Mark 4:8 Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they sprouted, grew, and produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted!
