Dare To Be Different – Daily Wisdom
Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1939 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote and some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.

Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:

Today’s quote is from Harry Millner, and it is: All progress occurs because people dare to be different.

Dare To Be Different

Throughout our teen years and even into adulthood, en masse, we attempt to be different, but most of the time, we all end up the same because we all want to be accepted by our peers. It takes a truly confident person to dare to be different without being weird or offensive. God has created us uniquely different from anyone else with our unique talents and abilities. Yet, we will have commonalities because we are created to be God’s imagers. Still, we do a disservice to ourselves and our community if we become lemmings because we are insecure and desire to fit in instead of being outstanding. If you desire to make the most progress possible so that you can have the most significant potential impact on your community and all eternity, then dare to be different. Dare to shine like the sun for God’s honor and glory.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
