Know Your Tools – Daily Wisdom
Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1892 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote and some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.

Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:

Today’s quote is from Steve Maraboli, and it is: Accept yourself, your strengths, your weaknesses, your truths, and know what tools you have to fulfill your purpose.
Know Your Tools

God has created us with a unique set of character traits, talents, strengths, and abilities. He desires us to use them to our most total capabilities and for His glory. Since that is a fact, it is up to us to discover and intimately know what tools or skills God has blessed us with. We need to understand our strengths and also our weaknesses. When we find out this truth about ourselves, we can know and fulfill the purpose for which we are created. Think about the skill set you have been blessed with as tools in your toolbox for life. Likewise, you were blessed with tools to serve God for His purpose in your life. Make sure you know your tools, and as crucial that you use those tools within your toolbox of life.

Then Moses told the people of Israel, “The Lord has specifically chosen Bezalel, son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. The Lord has filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts. He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze. He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft. And the Lord has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others. The Lord has given them special skills as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet thread on fine linen cloth, and weavers. They excel as craftsmen and as designers.
