Ability, Motivation, and Attitude – Daily Wisdom
Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1879 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote and some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.

Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:

Today’s quote is from Lou Holtz, and it is: Ability is important. Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.
Ability, Motivation, and Attitude

While all three are components are essential, ability and motivation will not bring success unless you also have the proper attitude to achieve. Attitude is the fuel that runs the engine of success. If we use a car as an analogy, the ability would be the car body, while motivation is the engine, but neither the body nor the engine will move without the fuel. Once the fuel is pumped into the car, which is the attitude, there are few limits to the places it can go. God provides us with the ability, and doing His will for our lives is the motivation, but His indwelling Holy Spirit provides the strength to fulfill God’s will. Allow the Holy Spirit to fill you entirely as you build God’s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.

As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and come along tomorrow for another day of ‘Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.’
