A Smile of Encouragement – Daily Wisdom
Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1846 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.

Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:

Today’s quote is from Alfred A. Montapert, and it is: A smile of encouragement at the right moment may act like sunlight on a closed-up flower; it may be the turning point for a struggling life.
A Smile Of Encouragement

A genuine smile at the right moment has such extreme power that it can heal a broken heart or repair a fractured relationship. We should never underestimate what an encouraging word, hug, and smile can do for someone struggling in life. You must have a heartfelt passion for the one who you are assisting. Just a little kindness and a smile of encouragement may be the sunshine needed for the closed-up person to open up in full radiance of a spring or summer flower. We never really know what another person may be going through, so if you make it a habit to smile, be kind, and look for ways to assist others, you will have untold opportunities to further God’s kingdom through your actions. The benefits of a genuine smile will also help in your life.

When they were discouraged, I smiled at them. My look of approval was precious to them.
