The Best Conversation – Daily Wisdom
Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1833 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.

Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:

Today’s quote is from Wisdom-Trek, and it is: A real friend is when you can sit alone together and never say a word...and walk away feeling that you have had the best conversation.
The Best Conversation

True friendship runs much deeper than conversations that we may have with acquaintances, and sometimes even family members. Yet, so often, it is thought that friendships are built on having meaningful conversations with others. So, while you must frequently communicate with friends, there are no more extended periods of awkward silence within a conversation as the friendship deepens. Instead, deep abiding friendships allow for a time of communion with each other where no actual words are spoken, but just the peaceful harmony of silence where you are content to be with someone you deeply love and respect. That is when you know in your heart that the friendship is real and everlasting. That is the type of friendship that I have fostered with Granny. Yes, we have our time talking about many things and laughing about the simple things we do. But some of the best conversations are just being in each other’s company and feeling blessed, even if few words are spoken.

There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.
