A Nice Person – Daily Wisdom
Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1815 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.

Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:

Today’s quote is from Anonymous, and it is: A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person.
A Nice Person

You can tell a person’s character based on how they treat others who can do nothing for them. If they are rude or nasty in any manner to those who do not have any societal position in life, then they are not a nice person. They will end up treating you in the same manner at some point if you fail to meet their particular need or status. So beware and be observant of how others treat anyone that comes into their life, regardless of position. How they treat the least will be an indication of their true character. The same applies to us also. As Christ-followers, we should treat everyone with the dignity and respect they deserve. Remember, they are also created as imagers of our holy God. There are many examples of how Christ was most kind to those who most cultures would deem unworthy.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+25%3A34-40andversion=NLT (Matthew 25:34-40)

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’

“Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’

“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’
