Your Horizon – Daily Wisdom
Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1808 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.

Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2016%3A16andversion=NLT (Proverbs 16:16) How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:

Today’s quote is from John Powell, and it is: A person can grow only as much as your horizon allows.
Your Horizon

Before you can achieve a dream, you must visualize that dream. The more detailed your dreams are, the more potential you have for success. For example, when driving down the road, your sight is limited by obstructions between you and your destination. If there are any obstructions, then your horizon is limited. On the other hand, if you are driving on a flat and straight road, your horizon may be miles away. So it is with life. If your horizons are clear and far in the distance, it will be much easier to grow in whatever endeavors you are pursuing. Set your sights high so that you will be forced to grow beyond your current capabilities, forcing you to fulfill your God-given potential. It is by God’s grace that He allows us to become what we are capable of. He has given us all that we need. We need to utilize what he has given to us.

May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and then come along tomorrow for another day of ‘Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.’
